After the Word War Two, socialism and capitalism, the main two ideological forms, has become the central issue of international relationship, while facing the constant change of events international situation, and the cold war threat still exists. In 1970s, Chinese people desired the economic development and the situation was very complicated. How to know and deal with the relation between the socialism and the capitalism was a big issue, which might affect the development of the socialism and the fate of Chinese nation. Learning from Marxism-Leninism and Mao Tse-tung Thought, Deng Xiaoping developed his own diplomatic view. He studied the unpredictable international environment with his outstanding calmness and thought. Based on his diplomatic thought, China opened a new page for the diplomacy new situation and won a great international environment for rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Mr. Deng Xiaoping led Chinese people to a new road that was opened by using capitalism. And also he opened up a new stage where the socialism and the capitalism could stay peacefully.This passage will explain Deng Xiaoping's diplomatic thought from three aspects. First, the base of Deng Xiaoping's diplomatic thought. Second, main Deng Xiaoping's diplomatic thoughts. Third, inheriting and promoting Deng Xiaoping's diplomatic thought in new era. In the new century, we need to study Mr. Deng Xiaoping's thought for it can help us know and deal with the relationship between China and capitalism correctly, meanwhile we can promote the process of reforming and opening.
