A Study On Intra-Party Harmony Of The Communist Party Of China

Promoting social harmony by increasing intra-Party harmony is a new concept of the theory of Party building issued in the Sixth Plenum of the 16th CPC Central Committee, and it was also mentioned in the report of the 17th Congress. The report stressed that the Party must improve itself to be a ruling Marxist party enjoying solidarity and harmony. All these show the vital and urgent of intra-party harmony in the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics. As a new concept, intra-Party harmony gives a new connotation to the building of ruling party, as well as promotes a higher requirement for Party building in all respects. In the historical course of building a harmonious socialist society, the Party must be the form core of the country and a party could not only effectively promote the social harmony, but also constantly achieve its self-harmony. For intra-Party harmony is a new issue, this dissertation starts with the detection and clarification of its fundamental matters, including its theory background, historical origin and practical foundation, based on these then analyzes its definition,innovation,characteristics and principles, states its great importance in building a socialist harmony society and strengthening and improving the Party's governance capability and vanguard nature. After finding out the contemporary problems in intra-Party harmony and deeply analyzing the reasons, then the theme at last comes to focus on the ways how to enhance intra-Party harmony, mentioned that building intra-Party harmony should be a systemic course wholly united and proceeded with Party building ideologically,organizationally and in work style in parallel with institutional improvement and fostering a culture of intra-Party harmony.
