The French Revolution, which broke out in 1789, enlightened the whole world with great ideals and hope. For a long time, studies of French Revolution and the recent 200 years of history have been full of ideology. Society was divided in two camps artificially, and the fight of these two camps is regarded as the motivity of social development. Human-beings, as the cleverest being of biological universe, should have enough wisdom to revolve and mitigate disputes and conflicts, and deal with common problems by negotiating and cooperating, other than fighting and killing. There was idealism throughout the French Revolution, which magnified the rationality of human-beings to construct a new world, and thought human-beings could build an absolutely perfect society. This theory is originated from Plato, and developed by Descartes, and then rebuilt by Rousseau. The French Revolution was influenced by British revolution and American Revolution. However, with the developing of French Revolution, the French nation was to make examples for other countries. So obvious characters in French Revolution are forgetting traditions and rebuilding French nation. In revolution, the citizens' freedoms of body, religion, speech and vote were badly destroyed. From 1815 to 1870, the French regime changed so frequently, which experienced the Restoration from 1815 to 1830, The July dynasty from 1830 to 1848, the second French republic from 1848 to 1852,and the second French empire from 1852 to 1870. The alteration of regimes was originated in unbalance of different politic powers, with the changing of constitution. The development of society depends on not only tradition but also. The history of human rights of France tells us that if we want to build society without tradition, we will receive a very bad result.
