The well-attentioned Regulation of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Foreign-funded Banks has been officially issued on 15th Nov.2006, and has been officially put in force since 11th Dec.2006.This has been seem as the last legislative practice to improve regulation of foreign-funded banks before the overall open of China finance industry.Currently China government adopt the traditional finance regulation system which carry out according to the forms and types of established financial organizations.It's a cautious and reliable choice to China's domestic finance industry which generally implement divided operation management. The newly-issued Regulation of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Foreign-funded Banks still choose mainly the entity banking regulatory commission to regulate the soon coming-in foreign-funded banks,most of which are omnipotent-type banks or finance holding group.Can this entity of financial regulation model deal with the various financial innovations of foreign-funded banks? Can it do effective regulation to the crisscross financial operations?
