Habermas's Communicative Action Theory's Influence On Construction Of Multiple Values And Enlightenment On Femininity Theory

In modern and postmodern context, value centralization and relativism is a pair of conflicts hard to reconcile. The former is likely to enable titself centralized while endanger the other discourses with hegemony in positive form of expressions, while the latter means that a discourse will loses itself because of its doubt of all facts when it tries to protest centralization of other discourses.But Habermas's Communicative Action Theory settled the conflict better. On one hand, Communicative Action Theory is based on freedom and self-discipline of individual which exists as the value subject and its value is founded on the acknowledgement of other individuals' value; Communicative Action Theory, founded on introspection and criticism, obeys communication principles of authenticity, rationality, sincerity by coordinating self and other's aspect, thus to ensure individual's freedom of choices; Communicative Action Theory bases on communication rationality which is also coordination rationality which requires truth, honesty and beauty inwardly but communication rationality will not be replaced by others. Communicative Action Theory solves centralizaion of human's daily communication from three aspects: premise, principle and innner foundation.On the other hand, as information storage, life is not only the base of theory retrospection, but it makes the participant in communication to be valuable; communicattion rationality is shown by language in communication action, while general pragmatics requests participant express its theme and debate for himself effectively in accurate words or expressions in communication, and thus the value expressed by participant is exchangeable thanks to the generality of semantic meaning. The ojective of communication is to find common knowledge, that is (revisable) truth. Because common knowledge is the optimal knowledge under the current communication context through effective debate, it is theoretical as a guide of action and effective way to step out of scattered meaning. Endowing individual with meaning, exchangeableness between meaning and common language shared by various meaning have constructed completely to overcome relativism.As an outward characteristic of female society, femininity not only means common knowledge among individual and their performance, but also refers to feminism of femal group which displays under cultural and model prediction on construction level. As a result of debate between various modern and postmodern thoughts, femininity contradicts between centralizaion and relativism, so Habermas's Communicative Action Theory can be a reference for the foundation of femininity theory, thus to step out of the maze between centralizaion and relativismFirstly, insist on deconstructionism gender difference, otherwise femininity will lose its base. Female exists as individual of freedom and self-discipline who displays its character by language in communication.巴特勒's opinion that female's gender and character are built only by repeated actions can only lead female to nihility. Language is not only convention, but can describe.Secondly, under current consuming context, female should use power and currency field as a warfield to display its own character rather than lose itself in it as long as power and currency system is under true, rational and sincere communication context, and then female can completely show its interest and character without confinement of defined conventions. If not, femaninility and freedom of female is only an idle dream. Femaninility can be freely shown under the gurantee of critical public field through retrospection and criticism.Finally, common thuth is objective and revisable, so we should insist in construct objective femininity theory in communication context and attach importance to qualitative research methods, especially the function of visit in which female can be describer as well as an explainer. At present, China is also a consumption society with power and currency's invasion in life, which determines that it is necessary to rationalize life under the direction of communication theory, therefore, female can freely display its individuality and feminism under ideal condition. Public field is not mature in China, but improving, so Chinese feamle needs to involve in public field actively and liberate itself.
