Research On The Reform Of Prison Production Management System In China

In 21st century, China's prison enters an important period of development. As the rise of the thought of public management, this rather"mysterious"judiciary——"prison"starts to appear more and more in the vision of society. From violence organ to penalty executive organ, and then to correct places, the penetration of the concept of execution socialization has not only brought about the changes in prison execution values, but also trigger a series of reform on prison system. However, the original established system framework, which relies on the supply from prison economy to prison work, makes the pace of China's prison into modernization particularly difficult. The top priority is to reform the timeworn system. And as for the theory of operation of prison system, the literature that deals with the in-depth study on internal conflicts and reform models in the operation of prison system is comparatively less, thus, probing into the inherent contradictions is of great realistic significance.The thesis elaborates and studies on the purpose and significance of China's prison Production Management System, briefly introduces the research developments both at home and abroad, and presents the research ideas and the main research content of the thesis. It summarizes the relevant concepts, and settles the integrity of prison work on the unification of criminals'production functions, supervising functions and education functions on the basis of the previous normal researches.The logic motif of the thesis takes China's prison Production Management System in 2003 as the watershed, it explains the essence of the title from prison values, and analyzes the establishment and evolution of China's prison system from the establishing of new China to 2003 under the skeleton of prison value choices and prison system framework. It summarizes the characteristics of China's prison system in different periods, and sums up that before prison Production Management System in 2003, there are several problems existing in China's prison system: integration of prison and enterprises; badly-placed financial support, regardless of income and expenditure, not-standardized law enforcement.
