Prison Management Statusand Countermeasures Research Of Hebei Province

As the state organ for execution of penalty, the prison plays an important role in preventing and cracking down on crime, punishing criminals and maintaining social stability. Meanwhile, it is of significance to provide public security service, promote the coordinated development of economy and society as well as construct a harmonious society. Therefore, it is very important to carry out research on the prison management. Through summarizing the prison management work of Hebei Province in recent years, the paper analyzes the current status of the provincial prison management. By comprehensively applying all sorts of documents, the research achievements at home and abroad as well as sciences of public administration and penology, it explores the problems existed in the management and reform of criminals, the construction and perfection of new prison management system after the structural reform and the development of police force, and the reasons for that. In conclusion, on the basis of the reality of the provincial prison system, the paper puts forward the countermeasures to solve those problems.
