Relations between China and African countries are not new but China's engagements in the continent have renewed. For the last few decades, China has deepened its involvement in the African continent and this re-engagement is not an insignificant occurrence on the World Politics stage. Beijing's intention in its deepening involvement in Africa is seen as a neocolonialist path. The present work is intending to assess the nature of Sino-African relations by the means of a more positive perception. The analysis of the China's African Policy through International Relations Assumptions would bring more understanding of China's purpose and demonstrate that its intentions are not self interested. The paper will also highlight the developmental characteristics of the interdependence that could not be disregarded through examination of the case of Madagascar. This study could be a contribution in the understanding of the importance of South-south countries interdependence and would as well adjoin the few specific research on Sino-Madagascar relations.
