Study On Anti-Dumping Sunset Review

Sunset review, which is an principal system after the application of anti-dumping measures, aims to prevent unrestricted anti-dumping measures from becoming the powerful tool of unilateral trade protection and tries to make the anti-dumping law carry out fairness and justice. This article consists of three charters. The first charter briefly recommends the nature and development of sunset review system, furthermore, expounds the value of sunset review system from the viewpoint of theory and practice. The second charter analyses the nature of sunset review set forth in WTO anti-dumping agreement, evalues the sunset review system regulated in the laws of EU and U. S. , and introduces the latest development on the international stage. The third charter is the body of this article. The first part of the third charter makes some comments on the legislation and practice of our nation's sunset review system in combination with newest materials. The second part of the third charter not only introduces the status in quo of the companies in our nation affronting the sunset review from overseas, but advances some countermeasures which I hope can have beneficial references to both our nation's legislation and the companies' practice of handling the sunset review.
