Value Research On City Public Service

To promote public services is one of the reasonable methods for our government to implement people-centered scientific concept of development and effectively improve the city's civic well-being and satisfaction. However, why do people need public services? Where is the value of public service located? In what way can our government promote public service? Such problems need to be emphasized both in theory and in practice of value research on public services.This core issue of city government functions is usually accompanied by two major problems: how convenient is the public service system? why should the government promote public services? The solution to these two problems by the government not only demonstrates the government's ability to handle the issue of people's livelihood, but also shows value of the city government.So the purpose and the significance of value research on urban public services lies in this: to remedy government public service to the people's livelihood; to clarity values to Choice, Judge, position and assessment of government; to build the value ideal for city government's public service; to open the pursuit of value for city government's public service.The author first analyses the value of the public government services from three different dimensions: people's needs of survival, development and enjoyment of life. On the basis of this, the author proposes a new system of public government services and provides possible ways to make the system practical.
