Friedrich August Von Hayek(1899-1992) was an important character in the western Liberalism thoughts and the notable economist and thinker in 20th century.His research involved many fields such as Economics,Philosophy,Politcs,Psychology and so on.He did many argumentation on Liberalism from different point of Economics, Philosophy,Politcs and Psychology.He was seen as the great master for his enormous and systemic research.Starting with the origin of Hayek's liberlism,this paper discusses the development history of his theory,combining the infulence of the classical liberalism analyses the Phylosophy foundation of his theory that included individualism, ignorant Epistemology and the evolutional rationalism.The contents of Hayek's thoery are abundance.My discussing mainly focus on his criticism to the constuctive reationalism and the autogenetic economic and social orders steming from his unique defination of liberty and the essential political and legal principal to ensure individual freedom.This paper also evaluates Hayek's liberalism partly form contribution and limitation.Hayek's thoery is not constructive,but its greatness lies in the detailed analysis on the limitationof logos and the ignorance of human beings.His evolutional rationalism and the autogenetic orders are of much significance.There are seven chapters in this paper.Besides the article review which generalizes and comments on the existing researching production and the introduction of my motive and method of my research,in chapter three I will discuss the sources of Hayek's liberalism and in chapter four is the Phylosophy foundation of the theory includes individualism,ignorant Epistemology and the evolutional rationalism.In chapter five I spread main contents of Hayek's liberalism such as his defination of liberty,rules, autogenetic orders and political and legal pricipals.In chapter six I objectively analyse the contribution and limitation of Hayek's theory and the practical significance in the reality.The last chapter is my conclusion of this paper.
