The Obstruction In The Process Of The Rehabilitation Of Russia Which Comes From The United States

Since Russian President Vladimir Putin took office, The national strength of Russia has been recovering. However, the United States worried that the rehabilitation of Russian"superpower hegemony"is the status of a challenge, the core of the United States'policy is to prevent Russia"to restore the Empire".With the rising of the strength of Russia, the"containment strategy"of the United States is more prominent. In this thesis, the writer analyze the factors ,come from the United States, that obstruct the rehabilitation of Russia, eventually judge the prospects of the rehabilitation of Russia .Without the preface and conclusion, there are totally six parts in this thesis, the body is divided into four main parts. The first part analyzes the motivation of the United States to hinder the rehabilitation of Russia, the U.S. global strategy and the United States'belief that the rehabilitation of Russia would endanger the hegemony of it both lead to the implementation of"containment policy"of the United States. The second part analyzes the main military measures taken by the United States to hinder the rehabilitation of Russia, the United States'supporting of the eastward expansion of NATO, taking the nuclear superiority, as well as the establishment of military bases in Central Asia are the ways to squeeze Russian strategic space, to build a strategic encirclement arround Russia and to weaken the influence of it . The third part analyzes the main political measures taken by the United States to hinder the rehabilitation of Russia, the United States not only to promote the"color revolution"in the Commonwealth of Independent States and support the"GUUAM"group to keep far away from Russia to weaken the influence of Russia in its traditional sphere, but also directly to intervent Russian national politics. The fourth part analyzes the main economic policy taken by the United States to hinder the rehabilitation of Russia, the United States supports the diversification of the pipeline in Caspian Sea, decreace economic aid to Russia, hinder Russian accession to the WTO and put pressure on the economic development of Russia. Under the pressure of the United States, the rehabilitation of Russia will be twists and turns, but the rehabilitation of Russia is inevitable,because of the ability and power of Russia.In the process of analysis and discussion, this thesis mainly adopted historical analytical method, documentation analytical method and theories-practice analytical method.
