In nowadays, the regional economic cooperation is growing quickly in the world, free trade area as one form of regional economic integration, was used by many countries in regional economic cooperation. China, as the largest developing country in the world, should learn the successful experience of regional economic cooperation. Taking the advantage of free trade agreements, China should establish free trade area with neighboring countries or areas as soon as possible. Under the premise of consolidating the present results, in particular, it is very important to establish the free trade area of China-Central Asian countries in a short time, because it will provide a good international environment for China's development in the twenty-first century.In this paper, author used methods of empirical research and theoretical analysis. Author started from the basic theory of the free trade area, analyzesed the successful experience of the relevant regional economic integration organization, as well as China's practice of participating in the free trade area. Then according to relevant data and materials, author deeply research the necessity of China and Central Asian countries establishing a free trade zone and the possibility of China - Central Asian Free Trade Area. Next, from the perspective of international law theory, author analyses the legal nature and legal status of China - Central Asian Free Trade Area. At last, Learn from other regions of the successful experience of economic integration,author makes thoughts and recommendations of the laws and regulations in the establishment of China - Central Asia Free Trade Area based on international legal theory.
