An Analytical Study In Negative Social Sentiments Among Rural Youth

As China's socio-economic and political development, its rural governance is gradually bogged down. The crisis in the entire rural economics and society development has become an unavoidable problem. In the times of building a well-off society and building a harmonious society , an in-depth study and research in rural society's recent condition and its logic of development has been an immediate task for rural governance research. The young people in rural area, which forms a majority of both the young of the whole country and the labor force in rural area , is an important force in developing modern agriculture, Building a New Socialist Countryside and balancing urban and rural development. They are not only the main force but a core factor in rural governance. And in the social transition period, a series of problems such as negative social mood arose among the youth group in rural area ,which influence the governance and development of rural area. Based on former research in social mood , this thesis roundly and systematically dissertates the connotations, performance, causes and harmfulness of the negative social mood arisen among the youth group in rural area . The sentiments, According to the thesis' discourse , are the negative experience and mentation of their attitudeand views to the particular society--rural area and the wholesociety as well, influencing the stability of rural society, causing an identity crisis for countryside community, bringing about disorder for rural governance. To resolve the contradictions, correctly dredge the negative social mood, maintain the stability of rural society and to promote the development of countryside as well as building harmonious society, improving the rural youth's quality, expanding social supportive system, and widening channels for interest expression as well as other measures are needed.
