U.S is the most powerful country in nowadays world, since 1945 it foreign policy serves for sole purpose - world hegemony, yet George W Bush administration have had to formulate U.S. policy from new angel since the day of Sep.11,2001.September 11 Incident, happened just after George W Bush took on his first term as US president, has had make profound changes and adjustment to U.S. policy to Pakistan, which inevitable have a great impact on relevant countries and regions. To Study the nature of U.S. policy to Pakistan, will help us to understand the pattern of international relations and trend in the South Asian area, trace U.S.'s foreign policy after September 11, is also meaningful for us to make flexible policies and strategies, which is to creates a peaceful development environment.This thesis is composed of 3 chapters, including background which is mainly trace the reason why George W Bush should change U.S. policy to Pakistan; policy studies , focusing on the policy itself, the content and characters; influence and predicament of George W Bush administration's policy to Pakistan, is to analyze the policy's effectiveness and challenge it faces in the future.
