Study Of Ethical Implication Of Hu Jin-tao's Concept Of Masses

The people are the makers of history, and are the decisive strength of social development. The concept of masses is one of Marxist basic concepts, and is also the basic political idea of the Communist Party of China (the CPC). Having persisted and also developed Marxist concept of masses in the process of revolution, construction and reform, the Chinese Communists are the loyal practitioners of Marxist concept of masses. In the new period of history to build a harmonious socialist society and to build a well-off society in an all-round way, Comrade Hu Jintao, basing on persisting in the Marxist-Leninist concept of masses, adhering to the concept of "serving the people heart and soul", has formed new concept of masses with distinguishing feature, which is in line with that of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemin. Hu Jintao's concept of masses manifests the essence of "building a party to better serve the people, being in power is the people" of the CPC, shows the air of benevolent governance of "being close to people, loving people and working for people", and sets up a glorious example for Cadres at all levels.In this thesis, by ail-roundly and systematically studying the background of Hu's concept of masses, its subjective and objective conditions, its characteristics, contents, theoretical contributions and practicing, I try to show that Hu's concepts of masses, of social development, of harmony, of honor-dishonor, of authority, of interests and of feeling are an inalienable entity. Only by such study, can people more profoundly and accurately hold the essence of Hu's concept of masses, can the Party members and cadres consciously carry out the Party's line, principles and policies to serve the people, can masses more unhesitatingly support and deeply love our great Party and our great socialist motherland. Thus, it's extremely important to study Hu's concept of masses to make up correct concept of masses. Such study helps to strengthen construction of the Party's work style, helps to enhance the ability of governance, helps to meet the need of the people by scientific decision, helps to persist in Human-oriented scientific view on development to constantly improve the people's livelihoods, helps to give full scope to the initiative and creativity of the people, helps to better build harmonious socialist society, helps to build a well-to-do society across the country, and also helps to promote the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
