Along with the reform of government and personnel system goes on, the compensation of the public servants got more and more attentions. For some reasons, there is still much limitation in current compensation system of our country. Our government has attached importance to the reformation civil servant's salary institution. There's a enormous gap, for example, we are still lack of civil servant salary law, the salary of civil servant are lacking equity, low salary level,it would induce low work enthusiasm and corruption and be short of talents. All of these are the problems should be reformed exactly. This paper analyzes the successful experiences of abroad civil service pay system to give some new advises to China's civil servant pay system.This paper is divided into five parts altogether. In the first part the article has the research background of the thesis and research meaning at first, brought forward significance and the current situation of the compensation system studying at home and abroad, have introduced the main content of this paper and the thought of research.The part of the research background of this topic, research significance, research state, a research framework and content, research methods and what innovations are described; The second part states the history of civil servant's salary system of our country. It can be divided into three phases---before 1983, from 1983 to 1993, the reformation of 2006. Then conclude the effects and the problems; In the third part it introduces the development and the achievements of our country compensation reform, and the current situation and questions of the compensation of the public servants. In the fourth part I compare with the Western countries' governments, analyses the reformation of foreign civil servant's salary system; The fifth part concludes several measures for realize a better civil servant's salary system of our country:divide all the civil servant into different sorts by position for a better management; reform the compensation structure; build a standard promoting system and raise the salary by the annual index; study the useful tools of compensation management in foreign countries; and at last, perfect the relevant reformation of compensation management, for example, to strengthen salary law, perfect the assessment and so on. Finally, according to the problem of current compensation system, I provide some alternative measures and suggestions to contribute China's compensation system. To make the public servants become more outstanding and to improve government efficiency.
