The Research On The Function Of The Third Sector In China

The upsurge of the third sector in the global sphere reflects awakeing of citizen's self-determination consciousness, the malfunction of government and markethas, and social change. It has become an essential force influencing economy, politics, society and culture of a nation as the third social organization form distinguished from market and government, which is non-profitable and non-governmental. Since entering 21^st century, especially influenced by global financial crisis, Chinese society has entered an important phase changing greatly. It's characterized by growing vigorously of the third sector. But in reality, there is no normal and high-efficient its function in the third sector Under the circumstances, it becomes the primary problem that how to display the function of the third sector So the thesis focuses on the analysis on the status quo of function displaying of the third sector in China and how to display the function of the third sector in China efficiently.The thesis is divided into 4 parts. In chapter 1—introduction, the thesis mainly deals with the prescript of the third sector and related concepts, the emergence and development of the third sector, the literature of research status qua of the third sector and the principal train of thought and ways. In chapter 2, the thesis analyzes systematically the function of the third sector from political function and social function. In chapter 3, the thesis expounds the status quo of the function displaying of the third sector and analyzes the existing problems in the function displaying and its causes resulting in these problems. In chapter 4, the thesis discusses some questions needed to tackle when displaying the function of the third sector in our country, and then in reality circumstances, it analyzes and prospects the function displaying from the aspects of legal environment, system space, self instruction, and social support and so on.
