There're sixty years since the founding of our country. During the past sixty years, we made great achievements in the area of moral construction. Patriotism, collectivism, and hard struggle are taking root among people; Civilized and healthy lifestyle has become a conscious action of society members, contributing fruitful results to the building of socialist spiritual civilization. The Sixth Plenary Session of its Sixteenth Central Committee of CCT clearly stated a concept-the system of socialist core values, while affirming the leading role of the core values, also raising new issues to academia.Socialist moral construction is an important part of the building of socialist core value system. The two is mutual promotion and common development. Let the socialist core value system lead the socialist moral construction, has become a long-term and urgent practical problems.However, at the same time, we should realize that our country is undergoing the stage of social transformation. In the ideological context, also shows "moral anomie," "moral evolution" and other negative aspects. As the development of reform and opening up and globalization, social values show the trend of diversification. This is not only confusing people's minds, but also a test of the Chinese nation's moral muscles. Social is blowing up a new wave of "moral denial," and "moral indifference". To some extent, "antinomy" in the area of economic and moral has already occurred.Top-down moral construction, if has the value of operable significance, indeed can play a certain role in resolving moral crisis of the moment, can play a leading role in establishing universal good values of society members, can play a pivotal supporting role in strengthening the socialist core value system. Thus, moral construction of history and path problems is particularly necessary and urgent. This paper, backing up the road of socialist moral construction after the founding of our country, summing up the experiences and lessons, exploring the root causes of the current predicament of moral construction, then proposing a fundamental solution, designs to promote our moral status's "return" in advance. Of course, this "return" is not to return to the traditional morality mode, but through metabolic processes, to reconstruct of the moral effect, the same below.Over viewing the road of socialist moral construction after China's founding, we can basically divided into four stages according to the time:1st, from 1949 to 1976, constructing socialist morality compatible with the mainstream ideology; 2nd, from 1977 to 1991, constructing socialist morality compatible with the material; 3rd, from 1992 to 2001, constructing socialist morality compatible with socialist market economy; 4th, from 2002 to present, constructing socialist morality compatible with Well-off society. Through six decades of moral construction practice, we summed up rich experiences and lessons, had profound inspiration:1st, socialist moral construction should always adhere to Marxism; 2nd, socialist moral construction should be sure that the basic position of the material; 3rd, socialist moral construction should adhere to the principle of the advanced nature combining with the extensive; 4th, socialist moral construction should adhere to the principle of theory combining with practice; 5th, socialist moral construction should reasonably let the moral model play an exemplary role; 6th, socialist moral construction should follow the objective law of development of the times.In groping to find the building of "soft civilization", our country has achieved remarkable results, of course, problems can not be ignored. Currently, moral construction's dilemma mainly manifests in the belittle of ethical spirit and confusion of moral beliefs in society members, in the imbalance of mainstream moral orientation and the masses moral orientation, and in the contradictions of strengthening sense of subject and weakening sense of community. These difficulties mainly due to the infiltration of western dominant culture after globalization, due to the social structure changes after the reform and opening up, due to that the traditional values are only undermined but not reconstructed, due to distortion of moral education.In order to overcome the historical and real contradiction during socialist moral construction, we should primarily strive to achieve:First to hold socialist moral construction's value model currently—moral utilitarianism. Second, perfect the security system of moral construction. Third, we must dialectically weigh the traditional cultural achievements and alien civilizations. Once again, strengthen the human dimension of moral education in schools, to prevent just accepting without digesting.
