The Research Of Comparison Between American Foundations And Chinese Foundations

The United States, the birthplace of modern foundations, is the most developed countries. The Foundation development of U.S has become a certain size from the last century until now. Foundation has influenced in economy, social life and politics of U.S and even influence the whole world.The Foundation not only symbolize the highly developed economy and concentration of wealth, but also help the Government to ease social conflicts and embodies the Volunteerism of American.Since last century until now, Foundation has existed in China nearly three decades. It is the initial stage of Foundation. With China's rapid economic development the new "Foundation Management Ordinance" was released on June 2004. The Foundation is playing an increasingly important role, and received attention from the Government and the public's. How to better control and supervision of the Foundations, and how to handle the relationship between government and citizens to promote the development of foundations become new topics on the stage.This paper selects the U.S. Foundation, as a reference, to compare with our foundations on reforming. Describe foundations of Sino-US situation and status, and try to analysis Foundations'social and political influences. As for China, we can not copy straightly with the experience of the United States Foundation, because of China's specific national conditions.We have to search for more effective ways of development. Analysis the challenges of Chinese Foundation, and drawing on the successful experience from the U.S foundation, we should improve internal operations management under government support, to promote and regulate the development of China's foundation.
