Wellington Koo is a famous modern Chinese diplomat, and one of the world-famous political activists. He studied in the United States, at Columbia University majoring in International Law and Diplomacy.In 1912, he returned,acting as the Foreign Ministry Secretary of principals for Yuan.In 1915, Wellington Koo was assigned as Minister of Mexico, began his career as a diplomatic envoy. When handing foreign affairs,Wellington Koo dealt with well and long established political arena, not only for the domestic public esteem, more admired by the international diplomatic community.The sign of "Nanjing Treaty" in 1842, marked the beginning of colonial, semi-feudal society into unequal treaties from this era. The existence of unequal treaties, severely constrained the development of China, but has brought opportunities for the powers of development. The great powers in the initial taste sweetness of unequal treaties, continued a month unequal treaties imposed on China in the political, economic, cultural, military, etc., seized the rule in China and management of privileges, and to some extent, to replace the rule of the Chinese government. Mainly discusses the historical merits denunciation Wellington Koo, limitations and inspiration to future generations.
