As we all know, the Unite States is an obviously religious nation. The president who originally represents the secular politics should operate his own political duty basing on the principle of separation between religion and state. But, because of they are all religious disciples, everyone hold a kind of religious faith and is influenced or droved by it much or less. So the relation between presidential political operation and personal religious faith attract huge attention from public. Moreover, the integration of foreign policy which involves the national interest and strategy and presidential personal religious faith provoke much more controversy.The thesis choose Mr George. W.Bush who is one of the most religious presidents in the US history and have fresh came out the presidency as object of researching. Through observing the construction of Bush' faith and evangelical characteristic, combining of Bush' speech and concrete action in his two terms, the thesis will deliver the way of Bush' personal evangelical faith impacting on the US foreign policy, then the conclusion that the foreign policy which is made by Bush is based on religious faith is presented. Furthermore, the thesis summarizes three characteristics of the "faith-based foreign policy":redeemer spirit, arbitrary and risky, militant.Finally, the thesis select the Bush doctrine as a case to study, then, expose that each components of the Doctrine such as unilateralism and anticipation all comes from Bush' religious conception. Basing on this researching, thesis reveal how overwhelming the US foreign policy is droved by Bush' faith.
