Personal Information Protection Under The Disclosure Of Information

With the development of information technology and information revolution, computer technology and search engines developed so fast than in any previous of era,personal information are vulnerable to abuse. In this context, the protection of personal information of citizens had been to put on the agenda. At present, relevant international organizations and countries have legislated laws to protect personal information.China is still haven't a specific Personal Information Protection Act, but the actual things in violation of personal information is not uncommon.With the promotion of open government information, there is still a lack of relevant laws and regulations for administrative organizations to collect, process personal information.Therefore, it is imperative to legislate the Personal Information Protection Act. In this paper, the basic theory of personal information protection and the main issues were studied, and draw on the experience of the foreign legislation on personal information protection, tries to give some suggestions about personal information protection law in China.The paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter introduces the basic concept of personal information, features and the contents of information protection.In the government information open era, civils rights frequently violated by the government,which highlights necessity of personal information protection.The second chapter is on the study of China's existing personal information laws, the current legislation on protect personal information is so scattered that protection are not sufficiently and effectively to protect the citizens right to information.
