The Comparative Study On The Love View Of Students In CAPF Primary Commanding Academies And Conventional Universities

The CAPF primary commanding academy students'view on love is the issue the author has paid close attention to. With the development of society, the love view of the conventional university students is also changing. Being more open in sex, paying more attention to the appearance of the lover and playing love games are the reflection of the contemporary university students'current view on love. There has been no special research on the love view of the CAPF primary commanding academy students; therefore, based on personal interest and practical need, through comparison with the love view of conventional university students, the author carries out the study which would provide some reference for the CAPF primary commanding academies to guide students'view on love.Using the questionnaire survey method and randomly selecting 100 military academy students and 164 conventional university students, the author investigates and analyses the undergraduates'views on love, spouse selection, love failure and sex. The result of the study shows:1.As for the view on love, both military students and conventional students hope to balance love and career. However, conventional students are more practical in love and pay more attention to the economic and material foundation while military students take more emotional factors into consideration.2. As for the view on spouse selection, military students are more serious and traditional than conventional students. Military students make higher demands of the image and educational background of their girlfriends. More military students think falling in love will affect study. Neither military students nor conventional students have positive attitude toward cyber romance, but military students are more tolerant of it. Both military students and conventional students believe falling in love can make their life attitude more positive.3. As for the view on love failure, most military students fail in love because of time and distance, while conventional students split up mostly due to personality conflicts. Most of the military and conventional students can face the failure of love calmly, and the military students have more positive attitude.4. As for the view on sex, many military and conventional students support the traditional concept of virginity, but military students put more emphasis on the importance of virginity of women. Although military students are more open to sex before marriage, they will accept it only when their love become mature. As for one night stand, military students are not as open as conventional students. Many military and conventional students get sexual knowledge through the Internet, but more military students get it from books and periodicals. The number of military students who get sexual knowledge from school education is much smaller than that of conventional students. Most military students hope to solve their problems of love and sex with the assistance from school.The reason why military students and conventional students have different views on love lies in the difference of their life, study and educational background.In order to solve the military students' problems of love, special attention should be given to the ideological education, curriculum design and cultural activities on campus of the CAPF primary commanding academies. The academies should lay emphasis on the students'love issue and help them to adopt correct outlook on love through education and assistance.
