Research On The Training Modes Of Military And Political Quality For Commanding National Defense Students

The training and management has achieved initial success after a decade exploration and development. The dissertation aims to resolve deficiencies in the training modes of military and political quality for commanding national defense students, which will promote the cultivating of college students and reserve commanding officers at the same time. The author made a comprehensive survey and interviews with three stages of commanding national defense students:college education in relying on universities, professional education at military academies and holding a position in the army. The survey and interviews, which have gained much valuable relevant information, also cover relative administrative staffs, teachers and leaders. Through data analysis and comparison, the dissertation reached a set of relatively comprehensive and thorough training mode. It would help every selective and training office to consolidate the foundation of military and political quality, improve the starting point of growth and advancement for commanding national defense students.The main conclusions are as follows:(1) The dissertation analyzes the training mode of US Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). ROTC has formed a more perfect training mode in over170years. We could learn from its sound system, laws and regulations, strict selection and training, targeted military training, relatively favorable salary and bonus, etc.(2) The dissertation also analyzes the training mode of commanding national defense students in East China Jiaotong University and Nanchang Hangkong University. Nanjing Military Region and East China Jiaotong University focus on building the "East China mode", and Navy and Nanchang Hangkong University building the "Changhang mode" These two modes have gained advantages and are representative among the relying on universities. They have relatively complete military training facilities, organization and leadership training systems, training and management rules and regulations, rich military culture on campus, etc., which are worth learning and promoting.(3) The dissertation made a statistical analysis of the comprehensive survey and interviews with three stages of commanding national defense students:college education in relying on universities, professional education at military academies and holding a position in the army, and relative administrative staffs, teachers and leaders as well. A lot of problems and their adverse effects have been found in military and political training.(4) The dissertation puts forward some helpful recruiting countermeasures under the condition of diversified enrollment motives. It also provides countermeasures on the full military education under the condition of weakening military and political quality, the jointly development under the condition of alternate learning and training. On this basis, it forms an operable, practical and directive training mode of military and political quality, which would be beneficial to the growth and advancement for commanding national defense students.
