The Exploration Of Chinese Youth Internet Political Participation And The Management Problems

With the development and popularization of internet technology, the humanity is gradually moving towards the network information age. Influence of the internet has almost involved to all fields of social life, and is deeply changing the people's lifestyles and habits.As a new political phenomenon of the internet age, the emergence of the internet political participation has tremendously influenced the mode of the traditional political participation of Chinese citizens, especially the youth, as the main group of the internet political participation, manifest the unprecedented enthusiasm for political participation, and yield a significant influence for the practical political activity and government decision-making. Youth internet political participation has become the concerned focus in the era.Based on the current development of the internet industry, this paper firstly illustrated the connotation,features and development history of internet politics,political participation and internet political participation, and combined with some individual cases, this paper summarizes the status,methods and characteristics of youth internet political participation. Secondly, this paper systematically analyzed the main problems existed in the process of youth internet political participation and it generated the positive and negative factors for the practical political participation. On the basis, this paper demonstrated the deep historical background and realistic basis of youth internet political participation enthusiasm, proposed that internet, as a complex and highly efficient platform of political participation, showed the absolute difference with the methods of traditional political participation, promoted the diversification and internetization of political participation, broadened the approach and efficiency accessed to information, and effectively compensated for the lack of practical political participation, so the youth internet political participation has played more and more impact on the development of the whole society, and gradually enhanced the youth's attention and responsibility for politics, especially the mass of information provided the reliable foundation for government decision-making. At last, this paper discussed that the government should make the necessary and feasible management strategies, such as the construction of the internet political culture,the legal system and the technology strategies, to regulate and manage the youth internet political participation, to make it play the positive effect and to avoid the negative factors.The establishment of a harmonious internet environment of youth internet political participation is based on the normal operation of the practical political participation activity, must ensure the interaction and coordination relationship between the two parties, so that it will really promote the rational and health development of youth internet political participation.
