The efficacy of law is an important area of law, It refers to a legally effectiveimplementation of laws and regulations are effectively applied and compliance .Since thefounding of China the people has gradually set up and formed a set of socialist legal systemwith Chinese characteristics with the Constitution as the core of the system through repeatedexploration and hard work, legal system has made remarkable achievements,but effectivenessof China's legal situation is not optimistic. Some laws is shelved as a decoration in reality,there is a large number of phenomenain social life,such as legal non-complianc, not strictlyenforced the law, impunity, corruption and degeneration, it makes the legal rule and legalpractice, legal ideal and legal fact has a big gap between them. Realistic situation and thenature of the legal effectiveness requires that we focus and attention to the effectiveness of thelaw.In this paper, drawing on the basis of previous research achievements,first, disscussedthe basic problems of the legal effectiveness, mainly discussed the concept of legaleffectiveness, characteristics, legal validity and relevance of the concept of comparison,further deepened people's understanding of the legal effectiveness. Secondly, the evaluationfocuses on the legal effectiveness of the method and content, is intended to build a theoreticalframework, while providing people with a strong set of operational effectiveness evaluationof the legal tools. Thirdly, analysed the actual situation of the legal effectiveness in ourcountry and the reasons causing these problems.Finally, to some extent the situation on theeffectiveness of such constructive suggestions put forward, discussed ways to improve theeffectiveness of our law clearly made their views.
