| As a coastal open city, Ningbo's secondary vocational education has been greatly developed in recent years.In order to further improve the vocational education to increase its contribution to regional economic development, and to adapt to local social and industrial development as regional characteristics of the service-oriented vocational education, Ningbo is making efforts to promote coordinated regional economic development.But how to grasp the secondary vocational education development objectives, size and structure, innovation and talent training model, to cultivate qualities of innovation, entrepreneurial capacity, to adapt to the development of Ningbo,advanced manufacturing and modern service industry needing high-quality skilled personnel for the Ningbo area and fast economic development of science, providing high quality skilled personnel guarantee, becomes a new theme of the secondary vocational education reform and development of Ningbo.Present study used survey method and case study method, trying to digestion, absorption, integration of multi-disciplinary theory on vocational education and regional economic coordinated development of the theoretical achievements and practical cases, study also combined the field of secondary vocational education, the development of existing regional coordination theoretical results,and through empirical analysis of Ningbo secondary vocational education and regional economic coordinated development summarization, extracted outstanding experience, and aimed at an objective analysis of Ningbo secondary vocational education system and regional economic and social development and the relationship between pairs of Ningbo secondary vocational education.
