Research On The Coordinated Development Between Vocational Education And Regional Economy In Shanxi Province

The development of modern vocational education emphasizes the concept that vocational education serves the regional economic development,and pays attention to its acceleration in regional economic development.As one of the various economical forms which have the closest relationship with the regional economic development,vocational education plays an extremely important role in training and providing high-quality and skilled talents.Based on this,it is significant for the regional economic development under the new normal to rationalize and coordinate the relationship between vocational education and regional economic development,give full play to the positive role of vocational education in promoting local economic and industrial development,and build healthy,converged and coordinated relationship system between them.On the background of resource-based economy transition,this study focuses on the further research about the coordinated development between vocational education and regional economy in Shanxi.This study is of great value for vocational education to adapt to the transformation of economic development mode under the new normal.It also has the practical significance for vocational education to improve its contribution to regional economic development.This study is divided into four main parts.The first part is an introduction,with emphasis on the theoretical background,the significance of the research,the domestic and overseas research progress,and the main ideas.This part clarifies the reality and feasibility of the coordinated development of vocational Education and regional economy under the background of economic transition in Shanxi.The second part is the research on the coordinated relationship between vocational education and regional economy.It also discusses the measure indexes.On the basis of the theory research about the relationship between vocational education and regional economic development,the second part further puts forward the measure indexes which provide an effective tool to measure the coordinated development between vocational education and regional economy.The third part focuses on the empirical research about the coordinated development between vocational education and regional economy in Shanxi province.This part takes the related data during 2006-2015 in Shanxi as the research object.According to the designed measure indexes,this part develops the empirical analysis on the degree of coordinated development between vocational education and regional economy in these aspects:scale,quality,and structure.The target of this analysis is to identify the key factors that promote or hinder the coordination of both.The fourth part focuses on the strategies to promote the coordination of vocational education and regional economy in Shanxi Province.Shanxi should fully mobilize the enthusiasm of local government,enterprises and vocational colleges,reasonably expand the scale of vocational education development,improve the quality of vocational education development,and adjust and optimize the major structure of vocational education.These strategies are helpful to fulfill the functions of vocational education in Shanxi economy,provide high-qualified and skilled talents for local industries,make more contributions to Shanxi economic development.Thus,vocational education is able to play a greater role in the process of the resource-based economic transition in Shanxi.
