Investigation Of Current Situation And Idea Of Development Prospects For The Martial Arts Association In Colleges And Universities In Anhui Province

This paper analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the development of the martial arts association in colleges and universities in Anhui province with the methods of documentary, questionnaire investigation, expert interviewing, mathematical statistics, finally finding out factors that have bad impact on it. On this basis, by analysing the functions of martial arts association and investigating the organization and management system, content, coaching, funds, facilities, etc., disadvantages of the development of martial arts association in colleges and universities in Anhui province are pointed out and then a series of ideas based on that are also put forward to improve the current situation. Therefore, this paper can provid scientific theory basis for the sound development of the martial arts association in colleges and universities in Anhui province.The research shows that first, most of associations have sloppy managerial practices, chaotic management and unreasonable regulations so that nomal activities can not be operated. Second, a number of members have poor skills and many of them are low-level atheltes. They pay less attention to traditional gymnastic exercise of china. Sanda is in a better situation contrary to Chinese boxing and instrument. Few people take other traditional gymnastic exercise of china like Qigong and frolics five animals. Third, the majority of associations are lack of professional coaches. Only a few have professional ones, but many of them are just graduates without higher academic title, which reveals a fact that teachers and coaches of associations are too young to have much experience or teaching instruction. Fourth, apparatus, activities and funds for the association are hard to be guaranteed. Fifth, the martial arts association in colleges and universities plays unparalleled role in popularizing Chinese art and culture. Last, most martial arts associations in colleges and universities in Anhui province can communicate with others and learn from them.In response to the problems above, this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures of development prospects to promote the sound development of the martial arts association:improving management mechanisms; enhancing support for associations; advancing coaches'professional skills; stressing equal importance on both theroy and practice; fostering a good image and establishing education function and promoting communication among associations.
