Study On Social Security System Of University Teachers

As the bases for cultivating high-level talents, colleges and universities function as the cradle of creating advanced productive forces and advanced cultures. College teachers are the creators of advanced productive forces and advanced cultures. They are a special group of talents that obviously possess advantages in knowledge, experience, politics and personalities. It can resolve their worries behind, inspire their enthusiasm in work and stabilize the group of teachers to construct a standard, perfect and effective social security system for college teachers. The reform in social security system for college teachers is a historical necessity in deepening the institutional reform of the advanced education and promoting the development of advanced education.The present dissertation mainly employs the methods of Document Research, Comprehensive Comparison, Historical Review and Empirical Analysis. Based on the professional characteristics and the social security functions of college teachers, the study introduces relevant theories concering the research into social security for university teachers and gains some inspirations, and puts forward the theoretical basis for carrying out the social security system for university teachers. Combining its own charateristics of J University and basing on empirical investigation, the author makes an analysis on the major problems and causes in social security system of J University. The study draws the successful experience in university scial security reform in developed countries and some domestic universities, and puts forward some measures for improving the social security system for teachers in J University.
