The United States, New, Zhi Three Social Security System - On The Choice Of The Social Security Model

Social security is a component part of the market economy system and an essential means to keep the society stable and economy fully ?developed. It is a basic method for the government to assure its development of the function of social security, as well as a polily instrument to influence people?s consumption and employment. In the course of our building socialist market economy, social security is even more important to embody the character of socialism. Especially under the condition of the growing number of lay off workers in state ?owned enterprises and the increasing cost of the reform recently, it makes a practical significance to build the social security system according to our national conditions . That is my intention to write this paper.The paper applies the relevant theory and principles of social security in a comprehensive way and tries to discuss the objective model and reasonable structure in compliance with our national conditions by menas of comparative study. And it also includes the difficulties we may meet and its soiutions during the course of building a social security system with Chinese characteristics.
