Shanghai is a city of relatively high investment in education, with a wide range of schools to meet the different needs of students and parents. Because of such an environment, the author as a front-line educator has the opportunity of working in different schools. Firstly, the author worked in one of public schools. Secondly, she was a mandarin teacher in one of well-known Shanghai international schools for over ten years. At present the author is an assistant principle in one of private schools. Therefore, the author has the opportunity to conduct case of research, investigation and evidence collection. Especially, the change of her identity in the different working environment with strong comparison and research, and can obtain first-hand files and many empirical materials.Therefore, this research mainly uses both of action research and comparison research methods. In determining the topic for degree thesis, in order to avoid personal subjective color, the author again, in order to enable the survey method including interview, questionnaire, case study, validation etc. to improve the reliability and validity. This research consulted 2 principles,3 heads of department and 8 parents support members. The questionnaire samples were selected by the five Shanghai local schools and an international school staff (the case school). Effective sample has 92 people. It's authenticity and representative well.In this thesis, there are three levels of analysis. The YZ international school internal operation and assessment system, our local primary and secondary school internal management problems, learn from the experience such as YZ school system and reform measures proposed. On the one hand, The author compared methods for selecting the theme and scope of the case by introducing a system of schools, the backbone of the unique "system" is a successful foreign schools, and its internal management system. What is it? Does the system work effectively? On the other hand the author also has a choice to choose the weakness of our local school internal management system, trying to find the modern school system of internal operational problems, and thus enlighten our school education and make its countermeasures. The author hopes that our local school education is with the world, with international competitiveness. These are the core of this thesis. As the Shanghai municipal government, and the central government in the Long-Term Education Reform and Development Program In 2010-2020 indicate:Future education needs to expand and improve our education open and internationalization level. The advanced idea and reference for education, promoting experience in educational reform and development for enhancing the international status and influence and competitiveness. Education is one of the international education reforms in the Shanghai composite major breakthrough.
