Wushu is a traditional sport in China,with the skillful as the main content and the set pattern & struggle as the forms of exercise. Wushu has distinct characteristics of the Chinese culture. Its rich contents,philosophick esoteric and comprehensive function, make it sending the unique charm. Therefore, Wushu is recognized as the representative of Chinese traditional sports.School is very important for the development and popularization of Wushu. Likewise, Wushu also plays an important role in the all-round developing of college students. Besides physical fitness, the culture is more important for the college students. However, from the reality of Wushu teaching in colleges, some disparity still exist between the status quo and our desired effect. Due to the lagging of teaching materials, teaching methods, evaluation mechanism, teaching content and the lacking of teachhing Wushu culture, less students will choose Wushu as their lesson, and much rarer students will make it as their lifelong exercise program. Students'interest in martial arts is dropping year by year. So, in this case, how to developping Wushu teaching of colleges and universities, becomes an important mission.Especially in Hebei, the popularization and promotion of Wushu teaching has more special significance. Hebei province has many characteristics, such as local Wushu boxing, eight extremely talons, gossip, stamp foot, YangShi taijiquan, WuShi taijiquan, shaolin turn, and so on. Therefore, the development of Wushu in Hebei university, has its profound historical and geographical advantages. It should form its own characteristics in the process of Wushu'developping in the national normal university, and play its unique role in inheriting and developping the excellent national cultural heritage. But in reality, Hebei Wushu teaching hasn't achieve the desired effect, still has some unsatisfactory place. In order to get more comprehensive understanding of the objective of Wushu teaching in Hebei university, we need further strengthen investigation. In a word, we will try our best to give some suggestions for the development of Wushu in Hebei university .Through using the literature data method and analysising the previous literature, I designed questionnaire for students and teachers. I randomly selected 20 schools from 101 Hebei normal universities and 51 teachers and 800 students as the object of research. Through questionnaire investigation method , interview method, logic induction, symbolic statistical method.etc.to analyse the problems existed in the college Hebei teaching, the research results indicated that:Most colleges and schools attach importance to the Wushu teaching,with various teaching forms. It prepares basic condions for students to study martial arts.The amount and the education background of Wushu teachers is not enough for teaching.In the basic quality, teachers can adapt to the most basic requirements of teaching, but also have some problems, such as the lack of investigation of students, understanding of profound knowledge, national culture, and the ability of controling the class, etc.The process of Wushu teaching is almost fulfill the requirement, but also exists some problems, such as the lack of comprehensive and hierarchy in the teaching aims, the ignorence of students' actual demands ,the humanistic value and the local characteristics, the simplicity of evaluation, and the teaching effect is not very ideal, the teaching facilities is not perfect, etc.
