Study On The Harmonious Development Of Urbanization And Festivals Sports

The third Plenary Session of the 17^th Central Committee of CPC advocates the structural reform in both urban and rural areas to narrow down the gap between them. Urbanization is an effective means to promote the coordinative development in Chinese urban and rural areas, and also one of China's major targets of strategic restructuring in the new era. The festival activities with the core of cultural construction have played a vital role in boosting the development of urbanization. The harmonious development of both sides has been one of the heated events in today's economic and social development.Using the researching theories and methods of cultural anthropology, sociology, anthropology and economics for reference, the study probes into the connotation, advantage, problems and reasons of the harmonious development between the urbanization of Binyang County of Guangxi and the Firecracker Dragon Festival. The major results are as follows:The connotation of the harmonious development between the urbanization and the"Firecracker Dragon Festival"in Binyang County of Guangxi has been mainly analyzed from three aspects, that is, material, spiritual and system. Material serves as the basis for the harmonious development, spiritual aspect is the driving force pushing the harmonious development; and system guarantees the harmonious development.The problems influencing the harmonious development of the urbanization and festival sports are such as the low level of urbanization and the lack of special laws and regulations, and so on. The study put forward relevant measures like strengthening infrastructural construction, improving the bearing capacity of cities and towns and establishing relevant systems of stimulation to reshape the image of cities and towns and to expand the influence.The effective module of harmonious development between urbanization and festival sports is a four-in-one module to combine"Carnival, culture, shopping and travel", in which the role of town government and enterprises will be merged as one and the development of the latter will boost the former. This module emphasizes the function of educational inheritance. The study also bases on economic and management theories to suggest practical strategies which hold that government plays the leading role with forces of enterprises, society and ethnic tradition as supplement.
