Chinese traditional festivals clearly record the rich and colorful social life and culture of the Chinese people and contain the essence of Chinese culture.Therefore,in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,the teaching of traditional festivals should play an important role,that is also the reason why the author writes this article.The author conducted a two-years teaching practice in Tai Bodindecha Sing Singhaseni School.In practice,the author found that there are two main problems in the current teaching,first is that many volunteers in the teaching of festival would tell the north Chinese holiday customs,but ignore the custom's differences between north and south China and the fact that the majority of Thailand ethnic Chinese families are from Chaoshan area of China,thus causing unnecessary trouble and misunderstanding;second is that volunteers neglect of the lunar calendar knowledge,students can't understand or state the date,they feel confuse.In practice,the author conducted a survey on Chinese traditional festivals by questionnaires,mainly involving Spring Festival,Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival,the total number of sample is 81 students,which includes Chinese professional class senior one,senior two,and senior three.The author on the basis of the results of the survey by combining with the teaching material content,teaching outline and the students' needs of Chinese exam.First of all,is the lunar calendar basis,which can help students understand the difference between the lunar and solar calendar,so they can comprehend,remember and express the date of the festival? Secondly,the author tries to use stories,pictures,videos,activities,and summarizes method,etc.to teach traditional Chinese festivals such as the Spring Festival,the Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival--to the teaching design,teaching content as a whole is given priority to with north China customs,at the same time,considering the difference of the north and the south of China customs to two or more things Tai-Chinese,for the continuation of tradition and innovation.In view of the student takes an exam the demand,we also use key lexical understanding memory method,homophonic memory method,the memory and skill to solve the problem of training students,aims to make the students understand Chinese festival culture interest while increasing examination skills,to obtain the ideal score.Finally,we propose that the festival teaching should be based on three aspects: comprehensive coverage,highlighting and interestingness.In the traditional festival of the teaching,language cannot be neglected in the elements of vocabulary teaching,first carry on cultural knowledge word before the class teaching,and at the key words repeated,during the festival teaching in order to achieve the purpose of cultural teaching and language teaching go hand in hand.Chinese traditional festival teaching is a combination of language teaching and culture teaching,and the ultimate purpose is to promote the national spirit and cultural connotation,and to make a little effort to spread the outstanding culture of the Chinese nation.
