The Study On Ideologicaland Political Education For College Students Under The Peaceful Rise Of China

The Chinese government put forward the developmental strategy of peaceful rise. Theproposal of this strategy unavoidably relates to the"how"problem. In order to fulfill thisstrategy, we need to deal with many problems, one of which is to upgrade the national quality,intensify the national mentality and enhance the ethnic spirit to meet with the peaceful rise ofChina. The ideological and political education for college students is one important way ofcultivating the national quality, the national mentality and enhancing the ethnic spirit. Therefore,essentially, the developmental strategy of China's peaceful rise requires the ideological andpolitical education for college students to meet the three demands: upgrading the national quality,intensifying the national mentality and enhancing the ethnic spirit. I choose this study subjectaccording to the above intrinsic relation between the peaceful rise of China and the ideologicaland political education for college students. Firstly, this essay makes a brief declaration to therelative problem about the peaceful rise of China and the ideological and political education forcollege students, and then demonstrates their intrinsic relation basing on the above theoreticalfoundation. This essay points out that we ought to highlight the national quality education,intensify the national mentality education and enhance the ethnic spirit education according tothe three demands proposed by the peaceful rise of China to the ideological and politicaleducation for college students. It studies the ways of the ideological and political education forcollege students under the peaceful rise of China in the last paragraph.
