Objective: The quality of life evaluation as an emerging and comprehensive health evaluating indicator was more and more important.This research is to evaluate the quality of life among urban elementary students,to carry on the univariate analysis and factor analysis to the influencing factor indexes,and to formulate the structural equation modeling of the influencing factors, in order to find out the latent influencing factors and the interaction between them.This study will provide the theory basis for the child care departments ,schools and the parents taking measures. Methods: This research data was from Weifang Science and Technology Bureau initiating project named"quality of life among obesity children and the influencing factors", the data including all of the children. This investigation used multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling.TheⅠstage selected three urban area from the five urban area randomly, TheⅡsatge selected one elementary school in each school, stratified by grade, TheⅢsatge selected half of the classes in each layer, used scale and questionnaire to investigate the children. The survey covered 19 classes and 1199 students, 1180 questionnaires were valid. The database was established by the Epidata3.1, and analysised by Spss13.0 and structural equation analysis software Amos7.0. At first, the reliability and validity of the scale were tested, and then marked the quality of life, all of the influencing factor indexes were used univariate analysis, and the significant indexes were used exploratory factor analysis. And then the structural equation model was formulated. And carried on the model repeatedly the fitting and the revision, thus obtains the final model. Results: The whole scale's Cronbach'sαwas 0.903, the 4 parts'Cronbach'sαwere between 0.613 to 0.800, the 13 dimensions'Cronbach'sαwere between 0.740 to 0.876. The factors'loading were between 0.615 to 0.997.The fitting index showed the models fit well. 6 latent factors were extracted from the indexes. The model showed that: caring and understanding factor had direct influence to the QOL (function size=0.45), the economy factor and appraise factor had both direct influence (function size=0.10 and 0.43),and indirect influence through caring and understanding factor and education style factor (function size=0.07 and 0.30).The parents quality factor and democracy atmosphere factor were basic, the indirect function size were 0.21 and 0.52.The education style factor's indirect function size was 0.13.Conclusion: The structural equation modeling method suits the influencing factors analysis. The healty sector, school and family tripartite, specially the parents should take the basis function of parents'quality and the democracy atmosphere, the media function of family affluence, appraise, eduction style, the direct function of caring and understanding, and then aim at the influencing factor to propose the corrective measure, thus improves the quality of life among urban elementary student.
