Under the current background of knowledge-based economy, the cultivation of college students'innovative quality is a rocky mountain blocking the way of higher education. As the base of innovative talents cultivation, college campus performs an important role in fostering students'creative thinking, innovative capability and innovation, relatively, as a crucial cultural phenomenon on college campus, college campus culture is inextricably linked with the cultivation of college students' innovative quality. On the one hand, it provides a favorable platform for undertaking that cultivation. On the other hand, it is a desirable path to that cultivation. In view of the lack of principal part and the fact of limited approaches in practical performance, as well as the actuality of deficiency of cultivating function, we'd better set out from campus cultivation construction, study the relationship between campus culture and innovation cultivation, and strike out a set of new ideas which well combines them together. In exploring in methods of fostering innovative quality-oriented college campus culture, we figure that:Mentally, we are required to encourage innovation by condensing mentality and exerting the guidance significance of college faith,to put students at first place and respect their subjective initiative and individuality development through shifting concepts, to inspire their interests and induce them to think independently and learn actively along with conforming to fundamental rules, and to inspire originality and bold trial by attaching importance to practice and backing up innovation. Materially, we're supposed to optimize campus environment and showcase innovative mind, to enhance infrastructure and improve teaching and scientific research quality, and to forge high-quality campus cultural activities which result in running a characterized school. As regards mechanism, we're asked to advocate teachers'creative teaching methods by perfecting the judgment mechanism, to excavate students'innovative potential by reforming the appreciation system, to enforce the building of an innovative team which helps in breeding students' innovation all around, to enthuse those involved with innovative quality by consummating inspiring system. Through these efficient trails, to attain the cultivation of college students'innovative quality by creating a fertile ground for innovating, which runs through three aspects as mental, material and mechanism, will surely be a profitable trial.
