With the fastly development of the net, it brings the conveniency into our produce and life. However, it also causes some positive effects. For instance, the net was excessively used and the net operator employ improperly so that the net user turn to be addicted. Therefore, a series of social problem and unhealthy phenomenon have been discovered. Above all, the event the college students are addicted in net has been paid more and more attentions.If we can not prevent, it will been more serious.College students are in a period that their physical and mental maturity is gradually forming. It is a period that students are easily led astray such as getting addicted to internet. This radical thoroughly examined the status of these addicted students using literature study and comparative study. We distinguish six types of internet addiction, they are online gaming addiction, social networking addiction, cyber sexual addiction, compulsive behavior addiction, information addiction and programming addiction, in which the onling gaming addiction is the dominant type.According to the analysis, the factors that result in the web addiction of college student are complicated; however, we still can summarize these factors into two group:the immanent and the explicit. The immanent group includes poor self-control. Cognitive bias, the values deviate from the mainstream of life, interpersonal barriers and so on; the explicit group includes。The virtual network itself and anonymity, the absence of family education, school management, the temptation relaxed and social environment. Due to the virtual specialty of network, college student can obtain what they can not get in true life conveniently, safely and low-costly and the inner satisfaction caused the network addiction. It gives the bad influence on the students'physical and mental health. It also brings bad influence on school and society. So it is very critical for us to solve the problem of Internet addiction. In this article we will solve the problem of internet addiction based on the ideological and political education which combined with the basic theory of ideological and political education and the relevant knowledge of internet addiction propose a new mechanism for the creation of the ideological and political education in virtue of psychological intervention and three measures which can prevent and correct internet addiction with the ideological and political education so that we can find the way to solve the problem of internet addiction.
