This paper studied error management on study of mathematics for students of CHANGJUN Middle School from Senior 1 to Senior 3 through questionnaires and interviews, and many teachers have been interviewed as well. The research mainly focused on the three followed: firstly, their attitude toward error management; secondly, ways were taken to manage their errors; thirdly, concerns from teachers and guidance in the teaching activities.According to our investigation, the results are as follow:(1) Senior School students all treat the error management with a positive attitude, and realize the importance of error management. Most of them have their own ways to manage the errors, but they lack the strategies of managing.(2) Those who are good at studies understand error management more deeply, no matter what grade they belong to. While the biggest distinguish between top students and average ones lies in Senior 1.(3)The students of Senior 2 do worse than the ones in other grades. Students in Senior 3 have the best attitude toward error management, but present to be a little negative in behavior and strategy.(4) Girls do better than boys in error management, no matter what grade they are in. But boys are better than girls at the strategy of error management, though doing worse in attitude than girls.(5) The teachers should give full recognition of the necessity of error management, but they are lack of more effective guidance to students.According to this research and the results, we gave our advice and strategies have been introduced to students and teachers on error management, followed by some analysis and further studies.
