Zibo City Football League Present Situation And Development Strategy

Afternoon, May 10th, 2008, in the Sports Center of Zibo City, people's emotions was running boiling, AFC Vision China - Zibo City League opening ceremony was held. AFC President Mohamed Bin Hammam and his party, the Chinese Football leading Association Xie Yalong, Xue Li, Sports Bureau's leadership of Shandong Provincial, Zibo Municipal Committee, mayor Zhou Qingli, Yue Changzhi, the City CPPCC chairman and Vice-Mayor Duan Liwu and other leaders attended and watched the first match. Total 12 teams participated in the first city league, the Sunday football club 6 to 0 victory over Zibo Vocational College of Industry, opened the curtain of the city league. After 5 months and 132 games, the first league champions received by the Sunday football club.In 2010, Zibo City League has come to the third year, with the help of the AFC and he guiding of the Chinese Football Association, with the care and support of Zibo Municipal Government , the football population growth year after year, soccer facilities improved gradually, football matches standard gradually. During this period, the city league also encountered many difficulties and setbacks.In this paper, literature review, questionnaire survey, expert interviews, the city of Zibo City Football League status in-depth investigation, which found problems and put forward feasible suggestions for the city league sustained and healthy development.The conclusions are as follows:(1)In 2007, from the city of Zibo has joined the Vision Asia program, the city league carried out well in general, but encountered some difficulties, the league's organizational of the management to team is not enough, all kinds of management regulations is still not enough and immature. The main factors affect to the Organization and management of the city league are lack of organization staff, the ability to work is relatively low, lack of funds. In addition, the referee level of law enforcement and other security measures need to improve and strengthen, attract more fans and audience involved.(2)City League implement home and away double-loop of the competition system, compared to traditional, can stimulate the morale of the players and raise the intensity of competition , attract more people to participate in the competition. However, the competition form and content was single, time of continuity is poor, the number of participating teams should maintain stable, increase the number of Serie B teams(3)Compare with the traditional form of the Units team and the Liberal team is the main competition form is football club, but most of them still in the immature stage. Average level of the coaches relatively low, the team strength of the gap is relatively large, number of teams in each district distributed unevenly. The main factors affect the team involved are football organization and coordination of insufficient capacity, number of people for a long time, not easy to organize, a larger gap between the teams strength and lack of funds.(4)The main participants are young, highly educated and high income groups, individual workers or self-employed workers, employees of state enterprises , UNESCO, health, students, and government agencies, and institutions based for a higher proportion of Zibo City. The skill level of athletes is relatively low, The main factors affect the players involved are organization and discipline of city league, the quality of the club, leisure time and economic reasons.
