As an emerging discipline who melting knowledge and skills in one body, senior information technology has been in continuous developing. With the rapid development of computer technology ,We have to make a new understanding of the education concept and the teaching means. New Curriculum Standards require us to take training students'information literacy as the goal. Through the practice of daily life, students can master the ideas and methods to solve the problem by using information technology. Sometimes the traditional teaching method is not suitable.To change this kind of actuality,the new style teaching mode of senior information technology must be explored. Project-based Learning (PBL), which is an approach of teaching as well as a pattern of course content, rising. In fact, many problems occur in the attempt of its application into teaching and a lot deserves discussion from the conversion of ideas of both teachers and students to the arrangement and implementation of the project.The approach of PBL is regarded as an effective one. So,this thesis has explored from two aspects of theory and practice.This paper has six parts.It expounds the background,significance and theoretic basis of PBL in the first chapters.Research on the very topic in China and other countries is also introduced in chapter one.Chapter two explains the concept,characteristics,phrases and conditions of execution.Chapter three explains the feasibility of PBL. senior information technology Chapter four designs PBL scientifically according to the inscape of teaching mode.In chapter five,project teaching mode is put in practice, and teaching effects are described in detail.The last chapter sums up this research and looks forward to further research.Viewing on the consequences of teaching, using PBL in senior information technology Course not only arouses their learning interest, completes their individuality development, but also Improves the ability to solve problems.
