In recent years, the phenomena that high school students overlook life, injure life and game life are often found in newspapers.But phenomena of damage life we see or hear are just tip of the iceberg. The potential consciousness of injure life is highly dangerous. This potential danger is not something of a moment, but is all the time. The events of injured life may be happen per second. The fundamental way to solve this problem is that high school students are guided by positive life values. High school is the crucial period that individual values take shape. The values formed in the stage of high school will directly affect students'future development. Therefore, high school students need to be educated on life values and it is very important and far-reaching that guide students to shape scientific, timely, healthy and positive life values.On the foundation of elaborated notion of value, the writer consider that life has intrinsic value, instrumental value and constitutional value and think life value consists of intrinsic value, instrumental value and constitutional value. And the writer analyses concepts of life values and life values education and elaborate the relationships between life values education and life education, values education. Adopted questionnaires supplemented with interview, the writer investigates high school students and freshmen for the status of high school students'life values and analyses the problems of high school students'life values on the basis of result of investigation, as well as analyzed the causes. On the foundation of the implication of life value and the status of high school students' life values, the writer reflects on the objectives, content, mode and teacher of high school students'life values education.The thesis consists of five parts:Part one:Introduction. It mainly introduces the background of research, research aim, research significance, research methods and former research results.Part two:Implications of life values and life values education. The concepts of life values education and some concepts related to life values education are analyzed and defined. The relationships between life values education and life education, values education are elaborated. Part three:The significance of the life values education of high school students. That consists of the making up for missing of life values education, the rational review of suicides of freshmen and the requirement of growth of high school students.Part four:The current situations of high school students' life values and life values education of high school students. Through questionnaires, the author analyzes the status of high school students' life values and education and summarized the problems of high school students' life values and education.Part five:Reflection on life values education of high school students. On the foundation of status of high school students'life values and education, the author reflects on goals, content, methods and teacher of high school students' life values education. Established three levels goals of high school students' life values education, Placed extra emphasis on educational content of reverence of life and respect for life, the educational methods of social practice, making full use of network resources and life narrative, and enhanced teachers' consciousness and ability of life values education.
