Classical Chinese teaching in junior high school plays a very important role in fostering students'ability to inherit traditional culture and improve our human beings'quality. The current classical Chinese in junior school is a relatively weak process in the Chinese language teaching. Because of its old teaching methods restricts the classical Chinese's reformation and development. The new curriculum's comprehensive promotion and developing calls for the transformation and innovation of the classical Chinese's teaching methods. By sorting out the reading material, collecting the relevant theoretical researching information on teaching methods and the information on the teaching theory and on the practical exploration of the Chinese teaching methods and classical teaching methods, as well as the data about the reformation of the new curriculum, the author wants to make a theoretical and practical research on the classical Chinese teaching methods. According to the chronological order, this passage lists the process of the classical Chinese teaching methods'development of our country, and expounds the different requirements in different periods before and after the new curriculum, and makes some comments on the adjustments to the changed method. This passage also does as the backgrounds of the new curriculum to offer some recommendations on the choice and innovation of the classical teaching method. First of all, the passage will present the historical evolution of the process of the classical Chinese teaching goals, including the overall objectives, the requirement of the quality and quantity and so on. In addition, the passage will make a statement and analysis, and provide a further proposal to perfect it. Second, the passage will interpret the requirements of the new curriculum, and explore the teaching material and teaching method of the classical Chinese on the basis of the new curriculum. Finally, the author will make some reflections and recommendations of its own on the specific classical Chinese teaching.
