Exercise in the high school language teaching material for students to accumulate the language quality, inspect study effect, understand the text and expand the study is of great significance, study of classical Chinese is also an important mean of inheriting traditional Chinese and understanding the brilliant culture of the motherland. Relative to the modern Chinese, ancient and modern spelling, word rusty problems are important aspect of obstruct for students’ learning, also makes the student fear the Classical Chinese learning. While scientific interesting school exercise will effectively increase the students’ interest in learning, arouse the students’ enthusiasm of writings in classical Chinese. combing and exploring school exercise in the high school text books of PEP before and after the class reform, we will find changes in exercise of high school classical Chinese in the past decade. Meanwhile, give students and teachers some Suggestions advise to textbook writers by comparison.Based on the related requirements in the theory of pedagogy, education psychology and the new course standards from three aspects of memory, understanding and application to analyze the two editions of the classical Chinese exercise by the high school classical Chinese exercise of PEP2000and2004editions as an example Exploring the characteristics and evaluating their advantages and disadvantages combined with instances of the text analysis and look forward to providing some advices to the set and reform of high school classical Chinese exercise.This article includes four chapters, explore and evaluate the characteristics that appear before the course reform of high school classical Chinese exercise by the application of related theory in chapter one combined with instances of the text analysis. The second chapter compared the characteristics that appear after the course reform of high school classical Chinese exercise. The third chapter give overall evaluation on exercise set before and after the class reform. The fourth chapter put forward the corresponding advices according to the result of previous analysis combined with the practice, and summarized the text.
