The traditional culture took some responsibility for the course of cultivating moral character which had degenerated into propaganda tools of militarism at the end of Meiji Period. After World War II, Japanese society stepped into a new historical period. The influence of traditional culture on moral education was growing with the resurgence of Japan, although moral education once disappeared in the intervention of the United States. These influences could be divided into two sides. One side was that traditional culture not only prompted the recovery and development of Japan's education but also provided a well education element for a rapid economic development. The other side was that some bad ideas of traditional culture were the primary factors for adolescents'moral crisis.Studying the history and status quo of adolescents'moral education, we can find that Japan is a very great importance to the protection and inheritance of traditional cultures.
