Applying the theory of style in teaching research, this paper studies a core problem in senior high school mother tongue teaching status and countermeasures. This paper contains four chapters.According to the text, the overall thinking in this paper includes:"what are the style and stylistic competence", "senior high school stylistic competence cultivation status" and "senior high school language ability cultivation measures".In the first chapter,the current stylistic ability cultivating status of Chinese mother tongue are reviewed, the second chapter focuses on the importance of cultivating the stylistic competence, and points out the acquisition process of stylistic competence,in which ability training is the important content.To cultivate students' communicative ability is an important goal of students' language requirements, which should have excellent works for learning, on the other hand, they should provide students with practical chances, The third chapter survey on high school students'stylistic consciousness and ability levels through questionnaire regionally.We conclude that currently high school students have mastered the common style.It is difficulty of them to hold styles of talking sanity,sencondary formal styles and formal styles,and the difficulty is increasing with the degree of formality. Teachers say stylistic language ability training is very important, the student has the ability but are often false.There are a lot of factors influencing the stylistic ability cultivation,such as the restriction of the unreasonal instructional objectivesand and the curriculum,the unreasonal layout of the respected knowledge together with the teachers'lackness.By contrasting with the teachers'and students'questionnaires,the results show that the high school stage should strengthen language teaching in style, schools should play a bigger role in cultivating studengts'stylistic ability.Curriculum standard should be clearer of goals and tasks of style, and should reform teaching method, strengthen the training style;The fourth chapter emphasize the high school stage styles ability training objectives, principles, contents and measures,in order to provide reference for Chinese mother tongue teachesr in senior high school.
