Comparison of teaching material is a hot issue in mathematics education research, experts and scholars compete to participate. Comparison of previous studies had focused on teaching compulsory education or high school section of general comparison between different versions of textbooks. on The comparative study of vocational education materials is relatively little, but this year the subject has gradually begun to attract. Research has already been started from the old and new vocational teaching materials in comparative perspective. Therefore, this study has practical significance. Though the study, it can provide some reference for the second edition and the classroom teaching staff in vocational study. And we can Deeper understand of the concept of vocational materials prepared.First, the author used the literature study method to review the comparison of materials at home and abroad. Analysis of their research on the teaching point of view, and then raised the topic of perspective.Secondly, the author used the comparative method to compare vertically and horizontally the conic part in three different versions of the math teaching materials as old and new versions of vocational teaching materials, and high school materials of Jiangsu. By specific comparison in terms of overall organization, content knowledge in specific, and terms of examples exercises, the author analysis of the vocational materials in the advantages and disadvantages that exist in actual use.Finally, the author used the interview survey method to investigate and interview students and in-service teachers to understand the actual situation of the conic section teaching process. It provided information for the study, and then the author got recommendations in the preparation of materials and questions need further research.In the new round of curriculum reform of basic education background, it compares the details of the conic part in three different versions of the math teaching materials (including old and new versions of vocational teaching materials, and high school materials of Jiangsu) in this paper. Combined with a survey of students and in-service teachers, it researches the using condition of the teaching material in this paper. It also analyzes materials that exist in the actual use of the advantages and disadvantages, and makes recommendations in the preparation of materials. Such as, teaching materialsshould focus on examples and problems in the form of guidance; teaching materials should be noted that in order to adjust the content structure; teaching materials should focus on examples of conic sections, the choice of adding an open question, practice activities, etc; teaching materials should focus on information technology to assist teaching; teaching materials should focus on the history of mathematics education.
