The goal of the vocational education in this new age is to train students with full-scale qualifications, realistic thoughts, kindness and noble moralities. As the motive power of the development of the vocational education, the reformation of the vocational education is being gradually carried out. In the past several years, it has been determined and efficient from learning with stipend to free fee. At present, the key and the main point of the reformation is the reforming model and teaching reforming of the vocational education.Vocational high school education is different from general high school. The traditional vocational education emphasizes on practice, and neglects theory training, as a result, theory teaching always couldn't be satisfactory. Besides, the traditional vocational education emphasizes on moral education, manners as well as regulations, and it always neglects the cultural literacy training. The morality teaching and regulation bounding couldn't satisfy the various spirits needs of the students. It has held up the training of talents with diversities and individuations.The old ideas of vocational education can't adapt the social needs of this new age. The vocational high schools should not only educate industrial workers, but also educate laborers with creative consciousness. It can't only play the role of outputting simple laborers, but tries hard to educate the laborers with creativities, awareness of social responsibilities, global awareness, as well as self-learn abilities. Therefore, the credit system and subject elective system should be carried out in the reformation of vocational education.In the new vocational education system, the value of history is distinctive. This subject emphasizes on the guide of spirits world and the training of culture literacy. It can help students form a correct outline on life as well as an accurate world outline. And it also fits the requirements of the new vocational education model. In a word, history should undertake the subject responsibilities in this system. Combining with one-year teaching practice, this paper concludes and analyzes the curriculum setting of history in the vocational education.
